Secure ADSL or ISDN SSL (https) connexion between the doctor’s consulting room and the laboratory’s extranet ensuring:

  • Incorporation of results in the patient’s medical records after downloading of encrypted XML files via Ketterthill’s or Healthnet’s server:
    + This automatic incorporation is compatible with many of the management software packages currently used by doctors
    + Demonstrations can be given by our IT team on request.
  • Patients can access our website at www.ketterthill.lu to download their results in pdf.
  • Results can be consulted 24/7 from our Cyberlab results server: confirmed result available in real time using a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari) in the Members’ Area at www.ketterthill.lu:
    + Access to entire results history with option to display changes in levels in the form of a graph
    + Printing out and downloading of results as a pdf for local filing
    + Urgent and warning flagging of pathological results
    + Access to image of original prescription (scanned image)
    + Direct link between prescription and results (if on-line prescribing has been selected)
    + Direct access to the database of descriptions of the laboratory analyses comprising information about usual values, physio-pathological variations, how long the tests take, interferences, etc.
  • On-line, real-time prescribing server:
    + Direct access to prescription interface or via the doctor’s management software (in "coherence" mode)
    + Screen-based tick-box prescription form
    + Incorporation of the prescription as a pdf in the doctor’s management software (subject to compatibility)
    + Printing out of paper prescription in the doctor’s format for supplying to the patient
    + Secure electronic transfer of the prescription to the laboratory’s server if an accepted patient has a paper prescription.
    + Direct link between prescription and results
    + Direct access to the database of descriptions of laboratory analyses providing information about requirements for pre-analytical sample taking and the storage and transport of samples
    + On-line checking of the prescription in accordance with the UCM (Union of public health agencies) recommendations (nomenclature rules)
    + Information about procedures not paid for by the CNS and prices for procedures not included in the nomenclature
